Hello,
My name is Dean Steiner. I am the VP of Sales & Strategy for AW2 Logistics, a division of the Ace WorldWide Group of Companies. My association with the company goes back a way. In fact, my Grandfather, John Steiner, founded the company in 1946 – an entrepreneur with a truck and a vision!
AW2 Logistics offers a third-party logistic service (3PL) that allows you to outsource operational logistics from warehousing, all the way through to delivery, and ultimately enables you to focus on other parts of your business. We provide a one-stop range of services that directly address the logistics and challenges of the 21st Century Supply Chain. This includes Transportation, Warehousing, Picking and Packing, Installation, Inventory Forecasting, Order Fulfillment, eCommerce Fulfillment, Crating & Packaging, and Freight Forwarding.
I have spent many years working in the Hospitality industry and have handled hundreds of projects ranging from boutique hotels to some of the largest brand names. Warehousing, Distribution, and Transportation are other areas where I have extensive experience regionally and nationally. Lastly, I have blogged numerous times on the challenges around the international Supply Chain.
At AW2 Logistics, we believe that one entity should manage the entire logistics process. Warehousing, Installation, and Freight are under more stress than ever right now. There needs to be one centrally controlled and transparent workflow process that is capable of updating all stakeholders on the project. This data-driven approach can answer all the “What”, “When and How” questions that will keep the project moving forward on budget and on time. AW2 Logistics’ team of experienced veterans has built such a workflow process to deal with the supply chains challenge we are all facing in the Hospitality Industry.
I am a proud graduate of UW Milwaukee (BA Marketing, 2002) and, in my spare time, I greatly enjoy Snow Skiing and the Great Outdoors (hiking, fishing, camping). I am also a passionate Basketball fan (Go Bucks!) and have a tremendous amount of fun entertaining with my young children!
